World Wildlife Day 2021 and Our responsibility
By Super AdminToday is Wednesday, March 3, 2021, 'World Wildlife Day'. According to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), between 1980 and 2014, 52 percent of the world's wildlife became extinct. 31 species of wildlife have become extinct in our country. Among the animals, there are 64 amphibians, 161 reptiles, 790 birds and 138 mammals. Due to unplanned development and massive population growth, people have destroyed and occupied wildlife habitats. Roads have been built by destroying forests and houses for extra people, agricultural lands. Rivers, canals and even sea creatures have not been saved from the hands of reckless people. On the one hand, the hostile attitude of human beings towards wildlife has led to the extinction of wildlife. That is, these wild animals are the lifeblood of our fairy tale monster Talpukur. If wildlife became extinct from this world, humans would not be able to survive. Just think what would happen if only bees became extinct. What would happen to the fruits or grains we ate? We need to coexist with wildlife. You can put some spoiled food in your house by your window or on the roof. Birds will come to eat them and show it to your children. They will be so happy that they will develop a friendly attitude. Wildlife is an integral part of biodiversity and nature due to which the protection of this valuable natural resource has been declared a national commitment to conserve biodiversity through the addition of Article 18 (a) of the Constitution of Bangladesh. Selling birds, killing, capturing and buying and selling is a punishable offense. The punishment is 2 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 2 lakh. Killing, capturing and buying and selling wild animals is a punishable offense. The punishment is 12 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 15 lakh. We need to know that Forests are a very important part of wildlife. We have received all these precious resources for free as a gift from God Almighty, so we do not understand its origin. But if you want to understand the origin of the tooth after the tooth is lost, then that understanding is not worth it. Do you want to leave or destroy this world for your next generation? If your answer is to save the earth, then now refrain from destroying forests, wildlife killing, hunting, trafficking, wildlife habitat. It is also your responsibility to make those around you aware of this. Interrupt if they are not aware. If necessary, take the help of law enforcement agencies. It is our responsibility to protect this world and our children. We cannot avoid this responsibility. I am with nature, I am with conservation, for a beautiful future. And you?
